2017 Purplexing Pinot Noir

A tale of two wines.

We founded The Barrel Project on the premise of selecting the best barrel of Pinot Noir in Oregon that we could find and bottling it as a truly unique offering. Over the past five years, we have created both single barrel productions as well as small batch multi-barrel blends. This will be the first year where we will be doing TWO single barrel productions from different vineyards from the same winemaker, Cody Wright from Purple Hands. It will give you a rare opportunity to compare and contrast something that you rarely find in the market–the ability to drink two best barrel wines side-by-side! The first vineyard is from Cody’s own estate vineyard, Latchkey in Dundee Hills, Oregon. The second is from one of Oregon’s most celebrated vineyards, Shea in the Yamhill-Carton AVA.
